At itison we match our 1.7m households to the best local businesses; create our own world class events for over 350,000 event-goers annually; run some of our home city’s best venues, and donate experiences to those who need them the most through our own charity.
We believe our business should be a force for good and a great place for a career, but above all, we believe work should be fun and that the experience starts with us.
This is a really exciting role for an ambitious and driven lead graphic designer to join our team and head up creative design across our major events and venues.
About the role and you
Based in our Glasgow HQ, as lead graphic designer you’ll work across three exciting areas of the business:
1. Major events - you will head up the creative design for Scotland’s largest events including GlasGLOW, Elfingrove and Drive In Movies with over 350,000 annual event-goers.
You’ll lead on creating event logos and epic artwork collaborating with the event director and videographer to develop a story to translate across web, print and marketing collateral, bringing amazing experiences to life through captivating design.
2. Itison venues - You’ll work across itison’s portfolio of seven venues, including Sloans, Brel, Maggie May’s and Epicures, helping develop new brands, event concepts, social campaigns, venue websites and the digital and print marketing requirements of a busy venues group.
3. Itison brand marketing – working within the itison digital marketing team you’ll design and create brand campaigns primarily for social alongside the creative marketing manager to help drive membership and engagement.
You’ll have at least one junior designer to mentor and work with and a separate itison web team (front end and devs) to collaborate with.
You’ll be confident working alone or creating within a team to get to the best result.
This role is fast paced, fun and often with tight deadlines.
We’re looking for someone who loves creating epic design whilst appreciating the detail of marketing collateral. Organisational ability to work across multiple projects and help manage the design team output is essential.
