Corporate Business Development Manager - New Service Launch

We’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager with at least 3 years' experience in a professional sales or account manager role (ideally B2B) to join our busy team, split between our head office in Glasgow City Centre, and being out and about meeting with businesses.

What you’ll be doing 

This is a new role where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering growth for an exciting new service. 

You’ll be responsible for making connections with the very best businesses across Scotland and converting these businesses to using our new service for employee perks, rewards, and gifting. You’ll be hungry to build connections and grow our community of corporate partners. 

You will: 

  • Research and identify target businesses and the key contacts within them, developing interest through outbound contact 

  • Present and pitch our new service 

  • Implement and manage a corporate customer onboarding journey 

  • Devise email campaigns to drive sales and report on campaign performance with actionable insights 

You’ll need to be driven with a genuine passion for giving great experiences.

We’d love to hear from you if: 

  • You have 3+ years’ experience working in a busy sales or account manager role, specifically outbound (ideally B2B) sales where you have pitched and closed opportunities over the phone and in person 

  • You have experience of building (or adding to) and managing our own sales pipeline and prioritising based on data insights 

  • You’re pro-active, commercially savvy, and passionate about giving great experiences 

  • You’re a people person who’s brilliant at building relationships 

  • You have first class communication skills – from listening to presenting ideas and persuading 

  • You’re someone who’s excited by the prospect of working cross-functionally with sales and different marketing departments 

  • You’re super organised, adaptable and used to managing your own time and workload 

  • You are confident in using systems, including reporting and dashboards 

  • You’re enthusiastic, a great team player, and have a positive approach to working and learning in a fast-paced, growing company
