Business Development Manager - Hospitality Specialist – Edinburgh & Lothians territory
This role will be based in our Glasgow Head Office with a minimum of two days spent in Edinburgh & the surrounding area each week.

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager with a genuine passion for food and an in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry to join our City Team, sourcing the very best in restaurant and bar offerings across their region.

What you'll be doing
Our City (Sales) Team is at the forefront of delivering growth for itison, responsible for driving double-digit growth every year through sourcing and negotiating incredible experiences in our local areas.
As Business Development Manager, you'll be tracking down the very best hospitality offerings, hidden gems, and up-and-coming places in your region, and converting these businesses to work with itison.
The role will be based in our Glasgow Head Office with a minimum of two days per week field based in your area each week. Knowledge of the Edinburgh and surrounding area is preferable, but not essential.

Spotting and converting new business opportunities within hospitality, pitching to and negotiating with business owners/seniors face-to-face and over the phone
Growing and developing your pipeline by building amazing relationships with key people, whilst coming up with smart strategies to grow your existing accounts.

Enthusiastic, energetic, and a team player – you’ll be personally accountable for your own targets, so you need to be independent, but also bring energy and positivity to the team
