Sales & Account Manager

The job

Our City Team are at the forefront of delivering growth for itison, responsible for driving double-digit growth every year through sourcing and negotiating incredible experiences in our local areas.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for building and managing your own account list, delivering the very best of your local area to our members.

We have offices, and opportunities, across 6 cities – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Manchester, and Newcastle.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Spotting and converting business opportunities
  • Developing existing business relationships
  • Coming up with ideas for new opportunities for your accounts
  • Pitching to businesses over the phone and face-to-face
  • Using analytics tools to grow and develop your business pipeline

We have offices across 6 cities – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Manchester, and Newcastle.

Who we’re looking for

This role involves pitching to businesses over the phone and face-to-face so you’ll need to be an engaging communicator, tenacious and fearless to boot. It’s essential that you’re flexible and happy to travel as this is a fundamental part of the role.

As well as building great relationships, we’ll expect you to be an ambassador for itison and be both personable and professional.

You’ll be:

  • Intelligent, professional and up for a challenge

  • An exceptional and driven developer of business, with a proven track record and a desire to be the best
  • A confident and engaging communicator and presenter, both spoken and written
  • Super-organised, adaptable and used to managing your own time and workload
  • A skilled negotiator who doesn’t give up easily 
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and a team player – you’ll be personally accountable for your own targets, so you need to be independent, but also bring energy and positivity to the team.
