Ticketing Manager – itison Major Events - Fixed Term (July 22 – Jan 23)

At itison we believe life is about the experience.

We do this by matching our 1.7m households to the best local businesses; creating Scotland’s most spectacular major events, operating some of the best local venues, and giving experiences to those who need them the most through our own charity, itisonUs.

Our world-class events, including GlasGLOW, Elfingrove, and Drive-In Movies attract over 350,000 event-goers annually and are consistently rated 5 stars. It takes a team of several hundred talented freelancers to bring our events to life.

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Ticketing Manager to join our in-house Events team and support us in delivering unbelievable event experiences.

This is a fixed-term role from July to January, with the possibility of future work at our 2023 events.

What’s the role?

You will support our in-house Events team to develop and manage ticketing systems and policies for our major events, ensuring that processes are in place for a seamless ticketing experience.

As well as developing processes behind the scenes, you’ll also assist with setting these up on-site, bringing them to life, and training up the box office teams.

Alongside this, you will work with various internal teams and departments to create and implement additional materials required to support the ticketing processes.

Once events are live, you will then be in charge of daily ticketing administration, scanner uploads and reconciliations in advance of the Box Office opening each day.

This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail and a sleek process that will enhance our audience journey – we want our visitors' experience to start before they arrive at the event!

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and implementing procedures, be confident liaising with other departments, and love the buzz of a live event.
