We are currently looking for a Head Chef with a passion and love of food to lead the kitchen team at Brel.
Set in an old stable & coach house on Ashton Lane, Brel boasts one of the biggest beer gardens in Scotland along with alfresco dining area, cozy conservatory and private dining room. Brel has built a great reputation for its nod to Belgian & French cuisine, with Moules frites being a firm favourite on the menu.
As Head Chef you will have experience in a high quality kitchen delivering great food in a fun, inviting environment. We’re looking for a Head Chef with real drive & ambition - someone who can help us take Brel to the next level and be an active member of the senior management team.
Working alongside the General Manager, the head chef will oversee the kitchen; food preparation, food service and profitability. With a team of around 10 members of staff, you’ll be responsible for the training and development of the existing team as well as recruitment of new team members. This is a full-time role where you will be expected to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
