Sales and Account Manager - F&B – Glasgow / Edinburgh / Dundee / Aberdeen  / Newcastle

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Sales and Account Manager specialising in F&B to join our City Team - sourcing the very best in F&B offerings across their region. 

What you'll be doing 

Our City (Sales) Team is at the forefront of delivering growth for itison, responsible for driving double-digit growth every year through sourcing and negotiating incredible experiences in our local areas. 

We are recruiting across Scotland and the North East - roles in Glasgow & Edinburgh will be office based, while Dundee, Aberdeen & Newcastle roles will be home based with one day a week working from our Glasgow HQ.

You will be tracking down the very best F&B offerings in your region, ensuring that our members know about all the latest openings, hidden gems, and up-and-coming restaurants and places to eat in their areas. 

What’s the role? 

  • Hunting out amazing F&B experiences our members will love, every day 

  • Spotting and converting new business opportunities, pitching to senior levels face-to-face and over the phone 

  • Building on established relationships and coming up with ideas for new opportunities for your accounts 

  • Working closely with businesses on smart strategies to help them grow.  

  • Grow and develop your pipeline by building amazing relationships with key people 

Skills  

  • Intelligent, professional, and up for a challenge 

  • A people person who’s brilliant at building relationships at all levels 

  • An exceptional and driven developer of new business, with a proven track record and a desire to be the best 

  • A genuine passion for food and and an exceptional knowledge of the F&B scene in your area. You must be well connected in your area and be able to hit  the ground running.

  • A skilled negotiator who doesn’t give up easily and thrives under pressure 

  • A confident and engaging communicator and presenter 

  • Super-organised, adaptable, and used to managing your own time and workload 

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and a team player – you’ll be personally accountable for your own targets, so you need to be independent, but also bring energy and positivity to the team
