Finance Administrator - itison venues
Finance Administrator (itison venues) – Full Time (36.5hours)
*Hybrid working options available after training*
This role is based within our Glasgow HQ and will primarily focus on itison venues; proud owners of some of Glasgow’s best-loved spots: brel, Maggie’s Rock’N’Rodeo, Sloans, and Epicures.
Our main mission is to bring great experiences to all of our customers and working alongside both the itison venues and itison Finance teams, you will play an integral back-of-house role in helping bring this to life.
We’re on the hunt for a smart, efficient, and experienced Finance Administrator, to join our itison venues head office team.
What you’ll be doing
Working from our Glasgow HQ, you'll be responsible for providing support and assistance to our existing Finance and venues teams.
You will have a passion for numbers and problem-solving, work at a high pace and have a clear and methodical approach to your work. You’ll need to be a highly resourceful individual with first-rate accuracy and a great work ethic.
You'll enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you will be comfortable communicating with different team members and managers across the company.
You should also have a minimum of 2 years’ professional work experience, in a busy Finance administration role.
Your main duties will include;
- Sales & purchase ledger
- Data imports and back-ups
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Procurement system administration
- Purchasing & PO control
- Processing payments from our venues booking system
- System Reporting
- Other routine and ad-hoc tasks to support the team and venues
Skills
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have 2 years+ experience working in a busy Finance team.
- You have Sage 50 (or similar) accounting knowledge and are confident using Accounts software.
- You have hospitality and/or procurement experience (preferred but not essential).
- You are confident using Excel and working with Finance data.
- You are comfortable with financial reporting and analysis.
- You have good overall IT Skills and an aptitude for learning new systems.
- Your accuracy and attention to detail and accuracy is first-class.
- You are organised and efficient, always looking for smarter ways of working.
- You can work independently and use your initiative to solve problems and find solutions quickly.
- You're enthusiastic, a great team player, and have a positive approach to working and learning in a fast-paced, growing company.
